Upgrading ship design and overwriting a name issues

When I upgrade a ship design and give it a name that WAS in use in a previous game it will botch the ship, giving it extra components, different hull, etc etc.

To be clear, it happens, If I take my "surveyor 001" ship. upgrade it, and save it as "surveyor 002" where I did NOT have a surveyor 002 in my ship list. But I did have a surveyor 002 in a previous game.

I've been having a different problem that's sorta similar. If I play a game as one race, create a custom ship with name X, then play another game with another race and make them a ship with the same name, I get prompted to override and do, then the ship turns invisible (icon in ship design and ship on the game map). If I restart the game the ship "returns," but that's a pain.

I've taken to naming all my ships with a prefix for the race to avoid ship carnage between races, since I usually otherwise use the same naming conventions.

i have overwrited a ship design in my curently game. now the say that all my ships are to far away and have to switch to lowenergy.. turn button is disapperered. bigest problem: i can load what i want. if i load a savegame with one of these ships i cant click on turn anymore. so i cant play my game anymoreas my whole fleet use this shipdesign

solved: after a complete restart it works again.
