Well I'll have to apologize to Stardock too after this statement.
I find Steam games to be first rate (especially their FPS games). Most of the games I found in Stardock I found really uninteresting. Sure besides the games: Sins, GalCivs, Space Rangers, and Jets and Guns there's really no other game that can match Steam's wide selection of quality games. (Plus many of the games are dead)
While it is true that Stardock's Sins/GalCiv/SR are one of the best games out, steam games are revolutionary and very popular such as CounterStrike, Half-Life, Day of Defeat, and Company of Heroes, as well as other critically acclaimed games like Lost Planet, Flatout, Nexus, Painkiller, Dawn of War, and the upcomming zombie coop survival game Left 4 Dead. Most of the games that steam hosts are very popular or highly anticipated.
But that didn't stop me from buying Sins and that wont stop me from buying other quality games that Stardock might have to offer in the future. However, dont bad mouth steam. Their games make up most of the gaming community (see xfire for example).
lolkosc, dont worry. Only three people in the entire world actually use steam.
I highly doubt that considering the popularity of their FPS games like CounterStrike, Half-Life, and Day of Defeat.
But Steam is a competitor of Stardock...
Does that really matter? I mean stardock itself didn't create Sins. Xpand Rally, CRC, and ShadowGrounds are on Steam too
