also, it seems whenever i put in the disk, it tries to install it again, when it is already installed

Your version is old. They are newer versions correcting some bugs and adding new contents, but they require to own a valid serial id that wasn't used by someone else to update the game (which happens frequently when using second hand copy).

Sorry, but your system is simply too far below the game's minimum requirements to run the game.

More specifically, the Riva TNT/2 series lacks hardware transform and lighting support of any kind (that feature was first introduced in the GeForce series in late 1999/early 2000). You also don't have enough RAM. Even if it were possible to emulate, it would likely be so ugly and so poorly performing as to make it completly not worthwhile trying.

Unfortunately, no amount of driver updates or game patching can fix this; you will need newer hardware in order to play the game.
