what changes to techs and improvments will the ai recognize and not recognize?

I intend on releasing some mods in the future .changes, would be to improvments tech tree and abilities,also i would like to create some events that trigger if possible.

My question for today is ,what can I change of the game freely ,that the AI will actually use ,if I make something new? for example if I change or create a new tech. how far can i go and the computer will recognize as something beneficial enough to build or research.
Is there A way to "tell "the AI to research or build something?

Is it possible to change the backround galaxy image that shows under all stars and planets?if so ,how?

and I know the game main menu screen can be replaced. how do I do this with A mod?

The Techs have an < AIValue > tag. The higher the value in it, the more likely the AI will research it.

The nebulas and stuff are in Gfx/Space.

First of all create a blank file called TitleAnim.bik and put it in the movies folder of your mod. Then, take the image you want, call it TitleBack.png, and put it in the Gfx folder of your mod.
