help with race config vista

kyro i need your help again with race config


i cannot get this race to show up on the menu

i copied and pasted the human race for this and made my changes

i forgot to transfer this stuff when i went to vista

all of my other mods are working just not the race config i tried about 5 more times this morning and can not get this to work


this is mostly for kyro but i would say thank you to anyone who can help me

Is this in the main RaceConfig file or in one of the single-race files under My Documents?

this is the in the main raceconfig file under da data english

i didn't know the was one under my documents

i had to down load an xml notepad becouse the one i got with vista didn't do xml

also i had a question about tech

i removed all of the starting techs from everyone but the dreadlords.

do the other races still get to spend points on techs at the start of the game

The format of the race files in my documents are not identical to that in raceconfig.xml. So if you're going to put your modded race there, you should start from the Terran Alliance.customracexml file rather than copying the Terran block from RaceConfig.xml.
