Hello all,

I have not long owned the gam and have played through on normal (saves reading rules). However I have found that i still have no idea how to research to build ship sizes. I research guns, engines hull size logistics miniturisation armor ecm's sensors everything i can think of then one day i seem to be able to build medium, large huge ships all in one go.

I must be missing something as upto then i always seem to require other techs but am not able to identify them.

If anyone could give me a pointer or two i would greatly appreciate it.

Oh this is the standard game not DA.
