I just bought the game yesterday and updated it this morning to try to fix this problem.

Generally, everything appears as it would when you zoom all the way out, with the exception of stars. When I zoom all the way in or anywhere in between the ships and planets retain their little icon. It happened once before but fixed itself after a few mins; this time it isn't fixing itself and its really bugging me. Any ideas?

I've already checked the video/interface/general options for anything but there aren't any options enabled or disabled that would cause this.
