I just installed Galactic Civ 2. Unfortunately, the game keeps locking up and the system reboots. There are no error messages and nothing in the debug.err file that looks suspicious. It doesn't die at the same spot each time, but its always within the first few minutes (usually within one of the campaign setup screens but once I actually got into the game...for about 10 seconds).
What I have done so far:
1) Downloaded the latest Bonus Pack and installed it.
2) Updated my video drivers to the latest (from Omega).
3) Verified my paging file is setup properly (min 1.5GB, max 3GB)
4) Verified video driver settings (set to Direct3D software select, etc.)
5) Tried playing the game with all sound/music off.
Nothing seems to work. I'm running this on my iMac, booting in XP. Other games work fine but this one is having issues. Any ideas?
