Fisrt I must say that I have always loved the feedom of wireless desktops
But Recently my Logitech LX 501 keyboard packed up, leaving me with a heap I borrowed for a week or two.
The point of this thread is I have taken delivery of a Saitek Eclipse II keyboard and a razer DeathAdder mouse.
I will never critisize corded input again.
Firstly, The saitek is Awesome. the build is great, the key action crisp and responsive and oh the lighting is amazing. i love that lighting in night sessions.
But the DeathAdder , I pondered hard looked at all the reviews. I considered the G5 and maybe if I could wait for the new version to hit the UK market I might have gone for that, but Razer's DeathAdder is something to behold. It's not only the best looking mouse out there, but most important is it's performance.
It doesn't seem to matter how fast I react, it like it reads my mind. It seems almost too accurate, and a little tricky to get used to after a heap of shite but worth the few hours practice.
The accuracy and quick response are all in one package and you can change the DPI in game. this is the same as Logitech G5 so can't be faulted, the one thing I love is the feel. everything is exactly where you want and has a great feedback for button clicks.
I am used to 3 buttons mouse so 5 is such a bonus, If you like more buttons then I think there are other mouse's/mice out there for you. but for me, now, the Razer is all I could have hoped for.
I guess the G5 has got a contender worthy of it;s rep. and about time.
My final thought is I will be hard pressed to go back to wireless, it will be some time.
