I recently purchased the Gold Edition and I decided to play through the Dreadlords campaign first. I completed the first scenerio with no major problems but when I started to load up the second scenerio Ixith it crashed out. Now whenever I click on Continue Campaign it crashes out. I even tried to replay the mission I just finished and that failed also.

I am using GC2DarkAvatar.exe. Is there a known bug with the Dark Avatar executable not being able to run this Campaign? If so, is there a workaround? I have searched the forums to no avail and submitted the bug using SmartExceptions. I guess I could always play through the campaign using the GalCiv2.exe but I would prefer to do it with DA since it has more nifty features.

Any thoughts?
