Ok, so last night I was playing a long drawn out game of DA, I started around 6pm and was on th verge of finshing around 3am (Abundant All, Large, Crippling).

However, when I went to save my game I got the dreaded "Out of Memory" error that wont permit you to save. I do not want to lose the game, it is currently running. I left it on overnight with the Program Manager up (Ctr+Alt+dlt screen); I cant seem to properly minimize it (only gives Maximize, Move, Close as options) even though I had FUll Screen checked off in the Vid settings before I started.

My prev save game was 1.5 hr old and it was 1.5 hrs of painstaking invasions and battles to get to 90% of the mpa in my control.

I want to finish my game and post to the metaverse; last two games I ahd this same problem in the endgame of refusing to save and it wouldnt let me post to the meta.

In another thread someone suggested minimizing for awhile and letting the computer get back mem; I tried it for 5min, 10min, and overnight and it didnt work. Im at work now but I left the computer running; any suggestions or tricks here to save my game (literally)?

The game is stuck at 2.12 GB on the Pagefile usage (I have my pagefile at 2.5g but it just wont use the higher amount for some reason) and only has 150 MB or so of free memory.

I recall I used to have a program somewhere that flushed the memory, used to clear it up nicely for games with memory leaks, dont recall the name of the app though. Would crash the game 1/4 of the time but I want to finish my game.
