Evil Stormbringer, you make me not want to reply to anyone's e-mails if this is what I get for personally responding to your e-mails which you sent to me and kryo rather than just e-mailing gc2bugs which is the correct procedure to follow.
Well sorry Cari, you know I am not purposefully trying to piss you off... how do you think I feel. First, I have emailed about four debugs to gc2bugs... and have gotten no response other than a ticket number, nothing was fixed or addressed. Second, I was originally 'told' by Kryo to email both himself and you regarding the ship launch problem... all I did was add the other CTD issue. So again, sorry to anger you but I am only doing what I was told. As far as my attitude, that should be expected at this point, but don't ever think that I am unappreciative towards you or Kryo, or that I am blaming any of you for this.
Finally, as a parts person for a dealership I do deal with the public quite a bit and learned long ago that despite the customer, you should still do all that you can to make sure you did your job to the best of your ability, again, regardless of the customer's attitude or problem. So I guess what I am saying is, I would like to play the game I bought. The company you work for sold me the game. So could I (as well as anyone else with this same issue or similar ones) get some customer service (something that seems to have died long ago with most companies)that will rectify the problem, eliminate the problem, and allow us to play the game. That is all that I am asking. When it works, I proudly proclaim that it does and that it is one of the best games today, but when it doesn't... what am I supposed to do? Take four years of college so that I can fix someone else's erroneous product?
Please, don't get mad... just fix the problem. Even with my debugs no one knows what to say and surely, as I've read today, I am not the only one with the same memory write issues. I'm done, make what you will of this and myself. If you have a fix, you know how to get in touch.
