I know I've attempted to sell this idea before, but in the context of this thread, I will briefly restate.
GC2 is a lovely balanced game; therefore, for a future GC3 - I would like...
1. A realistic
3D universe (similar to that in
Homeworld)
2. Combine turn-based building/researching with
REAL TIME Space & Planetary combat (similar to that in the
Total War Series). This change will convert a somewhat dry game into a much more interesting/exciting
21st Century Blast - Challenge.3. And,, perhaps the most important! I want to see more space civs led by
beautiful scantily clad chics, such as Gaia, Santiago, that babe in MOO2, or Jennifer Tilly.
a. These "
Amazon" led civs would have great psychological advantages. For example; If, during a battle, the lady warrior cries-the male led civ looses all its' defenses (armor, radar, etc.). During negotiation/trading, if she
insists, the chance of the male led civ agreeing is increased by 100%. Etc., etc....
The Stardock people should not be afraid to fashion
GC 3 into the most fantastic PC Game
paradigm ever attempted (Benny Hill said a paradigm was $.20) but I digress. They should go where "no man has gone before."
After the completion of
GC3,
Bruce Shelley &
Sid Meiers will become forgotten individuals - next to the brilliant staff at
Stardock (who will lead the new
Gamers Political party to a landslide victory in the 2012 election). They will then proceed to save the world.
