Dark Yor kicking Iconian Butt

In my Current game at Normal Diff the Iconians went to war with the Dark Yor with the obvious intentions of gainning a nice planet. However that has not been the case so far.

In only 10 weeks of warfair the Iconians have lost three planets to the Dark Yor and I don't see the trend stopping.

I am actually greatly pleased by this as I have been wanting minor races to do more than sit around doing nothing. Has anyone else noticed any of the minor races have simular results since the recent update..?

I haven't seen it in DA, but I saw it several times in DL. It seems once a minor race goes on a killing spree tat they take half the galaxy. I actually was conquered by a minor race once, it was kind of embaressing (I was already losing a war with the Drenjin, and in came the minors).

I also seen such an event occur in Dread Lords. Its not very often they decide to take on the entire galaxy.

I however, hate minor races. They take galatic resources during the time every major race is trying to get planets, and they are never willing to sell. On top of that, the Pirates ignore them, which means they are free to collect all of galatic resources as the pirates destroy mining starbases.

My god! Could the pirates be friends with the minors? I knew the minor races were too quiet. I bet the surge of pirates is nothing more than their plan to steal all galactic resources from the major races...

By the way, has any details about the minor races changed? I would like to know, because I ussually turn off minors due to those problems. I also hate starting wars (I'm a good guy, not a war monger).

Those Damn pirates. got to hate them... err I mean love them since I kinda baise my own custome race on the pirates of old.

But I have yet to see the new mega pirates event and it was suppose to have been fixed or at least that is what I thought I read.

as for the Dark Yor, they are using Nano Rippers vs the Iconians Harpoons. I am just glade I was able to buy that tech from the Dark Yor and now have Frigates with 20 Ballistic defending my own territory.

Never happened yet with me.

Either they start and dont do much (maybe build a space station here or there), just to get conquered, or they show up in mid game, where they get totaly slaughtered by a bigger civ.
