My sounds keeps on flickering

My sound keeps on flickering in GC2, its not smooth at all. I have a very good computer but I dont know why this is happening. I have installed the latest audio drivers but the problem still persists. My specs are

AMD Athlon X2 Dual core
2 Gb ram
nvidia geforce 6150 LE integrated video

somebody please help

Hello there..

I just bought galcivII & I had the same problem - skipping sound. Even when just listening to the tutorials!


I turned hardware acceleration for sound down to basic & it fixed it. Anything higher than basic & I get the problem.

Please go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2 (or wherever you installed the game at), open the debug.err file you find there in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here. If this is a DA report, you'll find the debug in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar instead. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.
