Da installation via download

For some reason when i cant find how to download DA at stardock central, i resgistered succesfully, but it is asking for gal civ 2 serial but when i put it in along with email address, it says email address not reconized even though i have already used the same address with dark avatar, i bought gal civ 2 at stores...

Where is it asking this at, and what *exactly* does the error say?

Note you must have both GC2 and DA serials registered on the same account in order to download DA.

its asking it during updates and i go to

tools-resitration-galciv 2 - serial code and email address
and it says email addres is not in records
and dark avatar is doing fine, but its also asking me to update gal civ2 which requires registration and this is what happens

is there another way to get DA downloaded?

the error says

"The email address you have entered does not match our records. Please try again.

if you have changed your email address from the one used during your origninal order, Please conact (stardock sale and support) websites"

Did you originally register the game to a different address (if so, you can contact support@stardock.com and request an account merge), or are you using a second-hand copy? You need to have GC2 and DA registered to the same account.

If you have not registered the game before and it was bought new, you should contact support@stardock.com.

I bought it at a store but i did download patch updates could that have any cause for this mismatch up?

If you patched up before then you would have had to activate the game, so I assume you would have registered it in the past. You'll need to figure out which email address you registered your GC2 serial in the past, so you can request support to merge the accounts.

If you can't remember which address you may have used, you can go to the support page and put your addresses in the serial request. When you do that, an email is sent to the address you specify along with any serials registered to it. Alternately, if you remember the login details for that accountyou can log in with it here and check which email address it is using at My Account->Stardock Account.

thanks for your help kyro, i found the problem in the email address as i thought i fixed it before when i mistyped a long time ago and thought to hjave fixed, well inm playing DA and it is reallly awesome, GJ guys!
