Heresy - How do I uninstall?

Now I know that no-one in their right mind would want to uninstall
BUT
I just installed onto a new machine - no problem
would like to free up the disk space on the old machine
Cant find an uninstall inthe start group
OR
The program files folders
AND
to make matters worse - Remove programs in control panel
Would let me uninstall the GALCIV wall paper
but cant doesnt show GalCiV 2 installed as a program on my computer
GC config is missing
GalcivII is still on start menu and yes the game does start
There must be an uninstall somewhere??

If you installed via Stardock Central, you will need to uninstall via Stardock Central. Just right click on GC2 in SDC and choose Uninstall.

Personally i always like to feel as though i can remove things from my own pc and not have to rely on any 'outside' avenues.

I'm not complaining about Galciv, i just have this attitude because of all the annoying things that have ended up on my computer in the past. Not all software companies are as honorable as stardock believe me! If they can keep shit on your pc, they will.

You need to have the skill to be able to get rid of anything, anytime you want on your own pc on your own terms.

There's always delete the files, then delete using a registry cleaner/DIY reg cleaning

I wasn't really saying it should have an uninstall program. although i do wonder if you could follow Kryo's advice if you had no internet access?

The kind of programs that like to stick around on your pc, i wouldn't trust their uninstall program anyway.

For me, the key indicator of an underhanded program are new processes appearing in windows task manager when you are not running the program (depending also on what installation options you selected).
