Get a mac ads, hilarious!

These ads are really funny, there are so many but I managed to wittle it down to the one I think is the funniest.

Apple have a genius marketing department, shame the ads are all lies.

they should completely air the American one in Britain and the UK one in the US...

You wouldn't happen to have a link to an American one would you...I'm kinda curious to see it.

Never mind, found them, it seems they are the same on both sides of the Atlantic but with different actors, just to appeal to different countries, mah well, they're still funny.

Not to be insulting and this may be a bit of patriotism here but I prefer the Brit version.

Thats simply because of the language barrier... We don't use half the words in common speech that you do (Ex: Capers)... At least thats my guess - I could be wrong but thats kind of rare.

That said - I hate Mac computers so much - and when you consider that OS X was designed by Microsoft whats the point of Apple Computers?

yeah, to bad it's not true. Macs for fun? you can do podcasting, music and film on PC, AND actaully game on it to.

Mac's are for old ladies and graphics artists...sorry

Yeah, the commercials are entertaining in both regions, but rather deceitful of the reality of computing. In my years as a graphic and website designer, I never saw the distinguishing benefits of a MAC, and good-deal of the touted designer software is the EXACT same as the PC version -- or you can find similarly capable PC software.

I don't know the people in the American ones but the Brit ones are two incredibly successful and innovative comedians.

Something you may not know:

David Mitchell (PC) :- Hard working, prolific and distinguished BAFTA award nominated actor and comedian

Robert Webb (Mac) :- Previously unemployed commonly criticized for being a sell out, had a bout with drugs.

Microsoft spy in Apple marketing division perhaps?

PS: I'm still a big fan of them, 'tis just an observation.

Macs can sometimes be technologically superior to PC's in terms of speed and processing power. But that is marred by their unwavering inflexibility and costly repair fees. Plus you can't play many games on them. There's just no logical reason to prefer a Mac over a PC.

Macs can sometimes be technologically superior to PC's in terms of speed and processing power. But that is marred by their unwavering inflexibility and costly repair fees. Plus you can't play many games on them. There's just no logical reason to prefer a Mac over a PC.


However, those small performance benefits barely made a distinguishing difference to graphic designers (me) and video editors (me years ago), and nowadays those who need excellent rendering power tend go with PC-based systems -- or dedicated visual computing systems (also PC based).

To this day, a few friends and former co-staffers still tend try to convince me that my graphic design will benefit on one, and how you can now play PC games on a MAC running Windows (even more costs!). Every new year, the selling point is more about how that MAC is now more like a PC, which is rather self-defeating -- when it has to become what they were declaring was inferior for many years.
