Somebody bought me the Sims 2 + Pets Expansion double pack for Xmas, and I just haven't been able to stop playin it. It's really quite frightning how addictive it is.
It has one feature, which would kick ass for GC2. For those who don't know: Each neighbourhood (and each Lot on it) has it's own 'bin' where screenshots are stored by the game. You can access story mode quite easily by pressing F4 or clicking on the right button.
What story mode allows you to do, is organize your screenshots into a list (they're saved in the order they were taken), and write a piece of text for each one, which you can do as you play, or wait until the end if you don't want to interrupt your game.
Stories can then be set to Album Mode (You see one pic at a time, with it's text below), or Blog Mode (You see a list of much smaller pictures, with their text to the side - the pictures can be expanded by clicking) by default, and 'packaged' to the Sims 2 website by clicking a button (while connected to the internet).
The packaging bit wouldn't really be necessary if the game allowed you to save stories as files, although it's very convenient and probably works better for younger players.
A similar thing for GC2 would be extremely useful, especially to Frogboy I expect, as he's quite fond of his screenshots isn't he.
While typing this I've also had another brilliant idea...
"GalSims"
Make a household (or starship) full of GalSims, of any of the races!
