Stardock Easter Holiday

Stardock will be closed for Easter weekend starting on Friday, April 3rd and we will be returning on Tuesday, April 7th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time, but expect delays in responses during this time.

Wont play

past opining movie

I have just gotten this game and when i try to start it, it plays the opining movies fine. Then where The title screen should be a error message pops up and says "Galactic Civilizations has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Can ANYONE help me i really want to play. Also if your need any more information, just ask. PLEASE HELP

Post the contents of your debug.err file into a reply.

It can be found in the main program folder - usually C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2.

You can open it with Notepad, then select everything, copy and paste into the reply.

It will probably give a hint as to the problem.
