Planet Lights

I know the way planet lights are done was revamped a long time ago, and custom planet light maps aren't used any more. But, can they still be used? For making weird planet lights and what not? If so, what was the tag for customplanets.xml? I beleive it was {Planetlights} or {planetcitylights} ???

You mean you could (if you were so inclined) have your planet lights spell out "All your base are belong to us" ?

Edit: Seems that option was completely replaced by the random lights as per CC's comment.

I'm sorry, there is only one texture map for lights.  It's in /gfx/planets  called LightNoise.png.
The planets use this texture to generate their lights.  You can modify the file to get different light patterns, but it will affect all planets.

AWWW you mean you can't use a tag in custom planets to define a map for a specific planet to use any more!??! Is there any way you could reactivate that tag just for us modders?
