I just have a few things that i think would really enhance game play. thinking mostly for GC3.
First tactical battle... the current battle system does an okay job of selecting ships for target, i really like the enhancement to the battle system in DA beta, but i would still like to target the ships myself in sort of a turnbased battle sim, and have my ships run evasive manuveurs kinda like in BOTF... it just kills me to watch fleets battles that look like a bunch broken down ships that just float all over the place, if we cant get turn basede combat, at least can the attackers chase the defenders or something better than the current mess.
Second everbody dont jump down my throat when i say this but... deep space carriers would be nice, i know its been brought up countless times but i think its a no brainer... a huge or large hull ship should be able to carry at least 5 tiny ships for support, deployed by option or by battle. this is a much better option than trying to put huge ships with tiny ships in a fleet and watching them crawl acrossed the map...it would be a nice speed bonus.
Third Cloaking technology is something sorely missing from GC2, i've read many posts about the option but i want my ships invisible star trek style...not to say there can't be a tech to detect cloaked ships. personally i think this part of the tech tree could go on for a while.
