Movies in game not working.

This is a somewhat minor bug, but it's irritating me. I just bought Galactic Civilizations and none of the cinimatic portions of the game seem to work. The frames are extremely slow, it only switches frames about once or twice during the opening sequence. The sound works perfectly, though. My computer surpasses all requirements for the game.

Please go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2 (or wherever you installed the game at), open the debug.err file you find there in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.

The Geforce FX series is not very good at anti-aliasing--try turning it down or disabling it altogether in the options, and that should clear up the movies.

Thanks! This is the first time anyone has actually helped me with a problem on a support board. On boards for all other PC games the company usually sends you an automated email saying "We are pleased to recieve your message. Please wait several weeks while we analyze your problem. You might recieve an email by the end of that time." And then they never get back to you... And now I'm done ranting about other tech support boards. Thanks again. This merits a smily face!
