Most people tend to agree that GalCiv II made a huge impression on the Strategy gaming world. If things go in relative terms Dark Avatar will take the Strategy Gaming World by Storm. Very very impressed. At last a thinking person's TBS that does not hide behind insane "colony rush" or its equivqlent as a first game mechanic. The latter always drives me nuts as its generally at an insane illogical pace.

DA on the other hand is marvellous - what a huge change you guys have implemented. The whole nature of the game has radically altered, and for the better. At last many viable alternates courses of action are open to the player throughout the game, and you really have to think it through or get caught.

The opening shots in DA are such that I found I was able to concentrate on the game strategy and not be diverted by pure game mechanics of insane "colony rushes"

Wonderful ...... huge kudos to the dev team
