How Loyalty and Resistance works????

Hello! I've noticed that the Loyalty bonus don't parry the influence of the other civilizations... How it works, that is, IF it does? And about the Resistance one, I modded an planet building to bear this bonus, but it doesn't appear in the window that icon ImpStat_Resistance that is in the game's folder Gfx/Improvements. It also doesn't works? I hope that the devs could explain this...

Loyalty just makes the planets less likely to 'flip' when they are sumberged in enemy culture. Resistance is the same thing but is local to one planet, not global like the Loyalty ability.

Ah, yes! Loyalty reduces the likelihood to flip, not parries the influence bonus of the others... Interesting... Thanks!

Do loyalty and resistance affect anything else besides flipping? It would be nice to be able to set them to a very high value and disable flips without screwing up morale, population growth, etc.
