With the problems the last beta had I said, and I'll say it again, the release date for the final update was set way too early. There should have been at least 1 more beta to make sure those problems had been worked out and new one had not snuck in (as they obviously have).
So now we have a "final" that is really just another beta version with problems all its own.
C'mon, devs, beta test until the beta is solid, then use that beta for the final version without changing a thing. It makes no sense any other way, and way more sense than how you did it this time. |
Im Pretty sure they released it cuz they were sure they had it down pat. Remmember, there are a LOT of computer configurations out there, it maybe that there werent that many ppl testing the end product in the first place, and this way the "FINAL" version gets out to every1, and then EVERY1 gets to be a beta tester, this way they will get Debug.err reports faster, and in more numbers, so they'll have more data to work on, and in the end, make a better patch. Just think that instead of being "final" its just another beta, like 1.3XZ, or something in that nature, you get me, right??
Anyways, Im pretty sure that by the 3rd week of september, it will REALLY be final, but it never is final, cuz like I sayd be4 in another thread, it never ends, as long as Stardock has money, as long as they can pay programmers, it'll continue, 1.4 will have its own problems, just like any other patch, and then they'll need more time to fix THAT 1, and so on, and on , and on. You get my drift , Right?
