Updating Sound drivers

Where could i do these, realy dont know what i have instaled, think it came with the pc, for video drivers its easy couse i know, got to nvidia and download but for sound i dont

Look in Device Manager under Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

You can also see what DirectX is reporting it as in the debug.err file.

If it is on the motherboard you would probably need to go the the mb manufacturers site for any updates.
You can tell if it is integrated on the mb by looking at where the audio I/O is located. If it is grouped with the mouse/keyboard/serial/parallel/usb ports it is part of the motherboard. If it is a separate sound card it will be in one of the expansion slots.

Go here
C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2
And open the Debug.err
Then look for the 3(third) Paragrapgh, it has the primary soundcard used in your computer, on the top is your Sound Card Model, then on the bottom of the paragrapgh is the date of your sound card's drivers.

If you dont know the site for the drivers, but you do know the correct model being used, go to this site and register for free drivers of ALL hardwares.
