Found another bug in the latests beta patch. Instructions to reproduce the problem:

In the save game I have 2 fleets each having 3 ships. The lower (near military SB) is selected but when you try to select the other fleet on northern border of cultural zone, the screen jumps back. In essence I cannot select the nothern fleet anymore.

Shiva, I just tried a game with 9 opponents, and killed off one.
It shows me at 20%. Do you have a saved game where this is occurring? If so, please email it to gc2bugs@stardock.com.

I've got another typo for you Codecritter

It's when you choose alignment after having researched Xeno Ethics. It says under evil:
"+ Propagana Center projects make planets less susceptible to rebelling"
Propagana should be propaganda.

sam0t, I was able to reproduce your problem when I loaded your saved game. We're working on a solution.

When playing as humans and selecting a metaverse game i get an error saying the current race config is invalid and i need to press the clear button.

Done this a couple of times and finally found out that by selecting speed increase this triggers this message and it is impossible to use this.

For some races, when you colonize a new planet and it asks you to name it, you get white text on a pale blue background, which is nearly unreadable because of the low contrast. The game should use black text for greater readability with pale background colors.

I've discovered a bug in my current game, where the game will allow you to upgrade a starbase to a constructor. I did this accidentally to my brand new military starbase, (trying to go from a slow constructor to a constructor with a bunch of engines) and the starbase tured back into a constructor named "military starbase constructor", i then rebuilt the starbase and it asked me to pick the first level of starbase upgrades appropriate for that type of base. from that moment on while the bugged out constructor stil shows on the map, it has no effect on anything, and might as well not exist. i can't seem to find the way to attach files to this post so i'll be mailing a save from this game as toastee-arcean-starbasebug.zip to the bug report email address.

Dont know if it has been mentioned but at the third mission of the campain , when i remove the starbase of the first planet , it still building ships , but it cant stop it or change the ship type since there is no starport. There is no progression bar but ships are constructed. Don't know if they cost nothing I'v not tested further.
