Hey all you modders out there, I was wondering if you knew about this game? Basically it's starship action game based on the board game Starfleet Battles.

Anyways, There is a small, but dedicated community still playing Starfleet Command 2: Orion Pirates (I play it myself) and the mod community has gone very deep into the game. There are a ton of mods, and they are very impressive - the mod I am currently using on the game has ships from Enterpirse-era and original series all the way to the TNG era (DS9, VOY, etc). They also have all other major races; Borg, Klingon, Romulan, Dominion, etc

Anyways, anyone ever considered looking at their models for Trek ships? I don't know how easy it is to convert models (I know nothing about modding), but if you needed a reference for ship design meshes and/or textures that would be a great place to work.

The SFC2 community is absolutely dedicated and they take the game very seriously so their attention to detail is very high.
