Tile bonus

A quick question from a noob, I have played 3 entire games

On tiles that have a bonus is it a good idea or a bad idea to build a resource capital?
Example, my planet has a tile with a research bonus of 100%, if I have the ability to build a Technology Capital should I build it on the bonus tile or just put a research lab on the bonus tile and place the capital on a plain tile?

Build your capitals and super projects on plain tiles. The bonus tiles only give their bonuses with "normal" buildings like research labs.

Thanks Marshall I was just thinking that they might add to the bonus that the capital gives thus making all tiles on the planet better. I had guessd that was the way it worked so I didn't try it, now I know NOT to
