So what kind of races do you think you will make with Dark Avatar?

I am hoping that you can create a race with heavy penalties balanced by heavy bonuses to re-create some of the MOO races eg.

Awesome Production, Horrible Research -> Klackons

Awesome Espionage, Horrible Diplomacy -> Darlocks etc.


I am also hoping that you can grant free techs to races. That way I can make the Antarians with some pretty nifty tech, and a terrible Population Growth rate, and the Orions in a similar manner though the former will be evil and the latter good. Then you can pick the two along with a bunch of good, evil and neutral races and see what happens!

What ideas do you have for race creation? What do you hope race creation will allow you to do?

PS - Brad I would love to see a journal entry on the race creation. Though it may not have scored the highest in the 'most anticipated feature' poll, I think it is the most revolutionary feature as well as the most mysterious.
