Masochistic Sets AI to Incredible?

Hi, I'm not complainig. I'm just curious.
I started beating the AI preatty consistently on crippling and decided to bump the difficulty to masochistic. However i got badly outeched outproduced and ultimately just pwnt by evry single race out there even the humans who had half the number of my planets.
I thaught that at masochistic the AI got just a 25% advantage over the human player. So i decided to do a little experiment I adjusted manually the intelegence of the AI and see what the difficulty level shows as. I set every AI to genious and the game showed the difficulty as crippling so i bumped it up to incredible and it showed as masochistic.
I havent downloaded 1.3b yet so i don't have the extra difficulty levels.
If masochistic sets the AI to incredible what does suicidal and cakewalk do than?Or am i just wrong?

Crippling = +25% AI bonus, Masochistic = +100% AI bonus.
The extra levels above Masochistic aren't shown in the AI settings in 1.2, this is different with 1.3-Beta.

Suicidal gives 200% bonus to production, research and economy btw.

I'm sorry, I just realized that I confounded the bonuses somewhat, in reality it is even worse regarding the bonuses for the AI:

Painful = +25% economy, Crippling = +100% economy,
Masochistic = various bonuses for the AI all over the board (+100% economy, production and research??).

Note that this is valid up to 1.2, I don't know how this might change with 1.3 and its betas. Unfortunately Stardock is secretive with the bonuses above Crippling, I could never get a definitive answer or reliable information about the full set of AI bonuses at Masochistic and above.

Painful = +25% economy, Crippling = +100% economy

False! Brad/Frogboy said in this thread I created that on Painful the AI is set at Gifted which runs at 105%(i.e., 5% bonus) and on Crippling is set at Genis which runs at 125%(i.e., 25% bonus). See the updated GalCiv2 Wiki - Difficulty Level.

I still don't know what is the Difference between "Masochistic", "Obscene", and "Suicidal" and how things will change in v1.3.
