I didn't find any bugs at your mod. so what's the problem?


Even after my reinstall, I cannot get any changes to the Unicron system to stick (the Iconian system in the main game). For some reason it is not accepting the Unicron model you made. I can add it to other systems and it works fine, but not this one. To tell you the truth, it's really starting to piss me off. This particular system has not accepted anything since I started working on this mod. But for some reason it wants to stick with the New Iconia model.

Did you try just replacing the Iconia model with the Unicron one??

Yes, and it still uses the NewIconia model.

Might be worth emailing CariElf then on that one as i am unsure why it is doing that. I have not had any issues changing the Iconian planet... Strange that

I replace path from gfx/planets/NewIconia.png to gfx/planets/Unicron.png but the game does not accept the change. It continues to use NewIconia.png for the planet.

so delete the map, backup it in a folder and then delete it. or you can delete it and then copy the name of it and to paste in Unicron's name, then the game will think that the Unicron map is new inconia map and they will switch. try it now and see if it's work.

I have only just started playing the game. It's really good.
And i hear the modding is relatively easy.
I look forward to this mod you guys will make. It has me intrigued. Same with the SW one.

the mod is already released, whoever it is the beta so for the full mod you should ask Darth Griffin...

Aaah yes. I encountered it. But it seemed only a partial conversion.
Question: how easy are these files removed?
With Civilization i had to practically reinstall the game entirely.

didn't catch you on that... you mean how to remove the files? just delete the TF mod from your mods folder...

Is this the one in 'my documents'?
Or the one on my C: drive?
As for most mods i have to put it in the C: folders.


On a secondary note will this mod be expanded or can it be seen as 'finished'?

it should go to the C drive mods.

and I think it will be expanded because when Darth Griffin say it's a beta he mean a BETA!
