Metaverse Gamesave Laming

Excuse me if this issue has been brought up before but: Why on Earth is there no option to toggle Metaverse/No Metaverse game? I would think there are many players who would be happy to turn off the Metaverse so we don't have the "Load Game/Lame Last Turn's Production" issues.

... there is. Metaverse is when you click the "metaverse" button, and non metaverse is where you click new game. What you're talking about (lost turn) is nothing to do with the metaverse.

probably jfp3's referring to a remark somewhere that the devs consciously leave behind the load game/lost turn bug on purpose to deter ppl from laming the mv games... so if it is a feature and not a bug, then it is useless for non-mv game...

Ok Gents thanks for the clarification. I just wondered why all my stats took a dive when I loaded a saved game...and WhyTF my Tech research sits there for unmoved for one full turn. I've not seen that "feature" before in other games. Then again I've not done a Metaverse game yet, nor played a similar. (Don't bother to flame me about "Other games", thanks. ) If it's a matter of time-line adherence...there must be some other way~~? Hey, this will be a potential classic...let's get it on the cusp sooner than later eh?.....In fact it already IS on the cusp....just .....arg.....grrr)*&^%$#@!

It has been reported in other threads that the "lost turn" for production/research on loading saved games feature/bug (depending on your viewpoint) is to be fixed in 1.3.

Yep. Its not a bug. Due to be fixed in 1.3.
