Forums: Editing post eliminates endlines

If I edit a post and then approve the changes the post is "compressed' with all the lines being put together as one huge line. Editing the post again shows it properly in the edit window but it will not display properly in the forum itself no matter how many times I tried. (happened to me on several posts).

It happens both with IE6 and with Firefox 1.5.0.4
