Hello Stardock!
First of all, let me just tell you that I LOVE Galactic Civilizations II! I have spent a great deal of time playing it and have enjoyed every minute of it.
Unfortunately, I recently had to reinstall Windows on my computer. After doing so, I reinstalled my copy of GC2 into the old directory and then tried to re-apply the version 1.2 patch. Now, every time I try to play the game it tells me that my copy appears to be validated but the serial number or the machine SID do not match. I don't understand how this could be because the game updated just fine before I reformatted.
Right now, I can't play GC2 at all even though I would really like to! Can you please tell me how I can go about correcting this issue so that I can play again? Thanks in advance for your assistance!
