"We can't travel that far" Bug

I don't have any ships trying to get outside my range, yet every turn, I get this message saying, "We can't travel that far. Our range doesn't extend far enough..."

Any ideas?

I had this some time back, and it was because I had a planet sending ships to a waypoint. When I started building ships at that planet that were faster, but with less range, then the message started popping up every turn.

It would be useful if that window stated exactly which ship the message came from.

Not all ships have the same range ...
No life support, Basic, Xtended etc ...
Check all ships with the range feature of the mini-map.

One other thing! U cant get out of the "limit" of you ship! and it goes something like this sometimes depening on the size and position of your empire: (Notice that the . are areas outside the range limit)

And so on (notice above is my space range limits, Gray lines). And yet if i have a colonyship it goes like this: (notice X is the ship and right of the lines is IN the range). You cant click the ship to go OUTSIDE our range BUT yet it does if its like this (notice the ' = the moving line)

I'm getting this bug again. I have no ships anywhere near the borders of my logitics. The screen telling my that the ship can't go outside its range pops up for every ship I own. Of course, there's no telling exactly which ship the screen is talking about, I get one screen per ship in space.

I'm not running any mods. Clearly a bug.

Is the Auto Pilot option on the mini-map enabled ??
It is a toggle so you click it to switch states ...
This can happen on new turns where all your ships head for the far left corner
of the map ... ???? ...

I'm not sure what you just said, but the "all ships head for the far left corner" sounds interestnig. Is that a confirmed bug?

The mini-map is your BEST friend ...
Check out all the options ...
The auto-pilot function shows ship movements ...
BUT, the moves are executed after a one turn wait IF ..
You issue no other orders ...
... can be a good thing if you change your mind alot ...
...(and I do !!) ...
And, yes the goofy "All, (or some) ships head to corner left"
...is sum kinda bug ... ( ver 1.1whatever)

I had this once. I restarted galciv2 and it stopped.
