Six major races, six minor races, over 45 B5 hull models.

The Narn Regime is here and the bugs are squashed! Only caveat is that the Zathrus hull style doesn't exist anymore because there is a hard coded limit of six hull styles. It will be a lot longer before the next release - anyone got any suggestions for the tech tree?

And with a whole new major race it was impossible to keep it under 20mb - will have to ask for special consideration to get it hosted in the library

they should give you a special dispensation, all TCs for that matter, since making such monsters is impossible to do under 20megs, its an artifical and ridiculous limit.

Maybe we should start a thread asking ppl if they think we should have a special mods category, that would up the limit.

Ok am goin to make a new media addon for the new minbar character and the narn regieme. Hopefully ill get it done today, got pretty wasted last night...

Okay, love the mod, but Ihave a question, am I doing something wrong, or will the fleet battles never show correctly because of how the game is designed? All ships just stay in one place not moving or shooting, and then a winner is decided when I hit end.....I can understand if its something that we just can't do in a mod, but damn that would suck would love to see some narn ships blasting the hell out of some Centauri's

Think you must be doing something really simple wrong - like not pressing 'play' in the combat viewer or having 'full fleet battles' unchecked in the interface options. Below is a screen shot of a small narn assault fleet keeping those starbase crazy humans in check:

Absolutely LOVE the mod, rav!!

If you get the chance, could you put it up on a couple of other mirrors? Verzend always times out on me

I really liked GalCiv2 before, now I adore it!!

Rav,i dont think thats g'kar i saw the source file where u croped it from, they say its g'kar however i know b5 and it looks nothing like him. That looks another narn, he is in s2 ep 22, and on a couple of s3 eps and s5s.

Yeah you're right, I thought it was just an angry G'Kar.

I'll use the one from that first link in the next version but I don't think it's worth re-releasing - correct me in your addon if it bugs you (and yeah I'm sure there are plenty of people it will bug, sorry!)

Only works behind the scenes (ie. for minors). For playable races (ie. majors) it resets or can't be selected. This will become a problem if there are enough models for another race or if there are enough models to make the league a major. And I really liked having that extra hull style (Zathras) give access to all styles.

If there is a clean work around or I am totally mistaken, please let me know

Well i have 11 hull styles. I even made a mod to see if i could change it so all ten major races would have a unique hull style. Only problem is you can not select a new one in game.

Ohh my god, it looks awsome rav.Have started few days ago to watch show allover again.I weep for Babylon 5 universe,its so quite on internett about these few last years.Thanks for keeping it alive through this mod man.

Have not played mod acually, my main comp has been damaged.Have to repair,than reinstall windows ughhhh.Well anyway...i am gonna start with 3max studio in school acually so hopefully this winter i can join modding community and keep babylon 5 spirit awake.Thumbs up and keep good work

Babylon 5 will never die, just wait till we get holodeck technology, and the mods we can make on them!

That is if we can ever get out of the ahem... adult holovids, hehe

Long live Babylon 5.Ahh sweet memories first time i saw it as a show.

Ej becouse of shadows,vorlons and some other races maybe new tech tree should be available.Biological tech...

Also to keep it true to Babylon 5 universe,maybe very expensive laser technology.
Shields too...as to my knowledge only one younger race had them, it was Vree.And they didnt share their technology.Well i just say for future mods rav..keep up good work.Tumbs up to coplann and vorlon...all looks cool.

To all you,Centauri are destined to lead the galaxy,now if i just get my comp to work i will show you!

Yes one younger race (member of League of Non-Aligned) had shields but it wasn't the Vree. It was a pacifist race called the Abbai Matriarchate. They were an aquatic race governed by a Matriarch.

Abbai,those with crest on their head i think.Yup,you are right.Not only their ships,but cities were also protected by these shields i belive.

I downloaded this mod in high hopes of playing it, my first GC2 mode actually. That is not counting logos.

When I unzipped it made a B5 folder in my Mods folder and all the subordinate folders are in there. But in the game under the mods directory it only shows default and example in the mod list. Am I doing something wrong or is there something else that needs to be done? The readme says basically unzip and play.

make sure the folder is

Make sure your runnig 1.2 patch

rember to restart after selectin it

Have been away for a while, so I just noticed that there is a mod now.
And from what I've learned through the forum so far it really looks awesome rav.
Up till now I only used the pics and ships I DLed from the library.
Now I'm going to try the mod instead.
As for customizing the races and ships they use I think that with the dark Avatar expansion this will be much easier if SD holds true to the description of the new features they're advertizing.
