I havnt seen one of these threads here so let see what everyone running for a PC

Mine is a frankenstien pc with parts from 4 different PC going back to P 150.

P4 2.8 533 FSB 1 MB cache Prescott

Mother Board ASUS P4S800

1 gig PC 2100 - getting as old as it is slow

Asus Nvidia 6600 GT-128

Antec case with 310W powersupply

Soundblaster Audigy 2 Gammer

Maxtor 40 gig Hardrive from my old P3 800

Maxtor 20 gid Hardrive from my old P2

Keyboard from a compaq P2

Logitech MX510 mouse

Mine is a frankienstien mechine also. Old parts mixed with new and etc.

Pentium 4 2.8Ghz HT
ASUS P4P800SE
MSI 9800Pro 128MB (No overclock or anything)
1GB (512MBx2) DDR-SDRAM
Sound Blaster Live!
ThermalTake 430w PSU

And thats about it.. looking into replacing the mobo and processor, and maybe getting a PCI-Express card.

I dont know the brand names, But I do know the specs.


WinXP Pro SP2 or thereabouts
60GB HDD
512 MB of RAM
256 MB of graphics card
2.8GHZ Processor (no overclock)
DVD Drive
Saitek X52 joystick & throtle.
Logitech 5.1 surround sound


Too bad I'm running out of HDD space, Anyone know how to seamlessly copy over one hard drive to another? (O.S included)

2 gigs of 2700 ram
two hardrives using raid 0
nvidia 5500 or something like that, last gen. 256mb

The ships come out in solid colors with no lights or webbing. The movies don't work. I've played a good hundred hours or so but I'm feeling like waiting for more updates and a Vista-capable computer before I play more. Basically GCI was as sophisticated looking as a checkers game so I never gave a thought to GC2's graphic requirements. I didn't realize the ship graphics were crippled until I went over to a friend's house and saw his pretty ships. Performance has been getting better with each update.

Wow i had a gf2mx back in 2000. Then i soon upgraded to a gf3 cause it was so slow.

To give an idea how old that card is getting... he are a couple of games that just came out when the card was "new"
