I need help with Kryo's Hull Mod please!!!

Ok, I downloaded the mod, unzipped it to Galciv2/Mods folder, installed it, and it is there. My problem is that it is not appearing in the game. I looked to see if I had to enable it from the directory directly in the game but it was not there either... I have v1.2b. Help would be appreciated

did you look at the readme? and are you sure you have the 1.2 beta compatible version?

also, you need to start a new game in order for the changes to take effect, so....

It seems the mods folder structure was tweaked in the .b release (strangely it did not change on mine until just now when I went and looked at the settings). With this latest beta patch build, just copy the mods/Gfx and mods/Data folders into Mods/Default, then you should be able to use the mod by selecting Default in the game options.
