Server upgrade complete

Full power restored...

We've completed our migration to the new server. Things should be noticeably faster now.

Our next step is to update the forum software which will take a couple of weeks.  These changes affect all of Stardock's sites (not just galciv2.com). Stay tuned.

Hopefully the forum software change will go smooth. And more so, I hope it works better and feels better then the current one.

Not to sound like a broken record but a lot of us have posted concerning the incomplete recalc. We have not received an answer as to when you might complete it or even an acknowledgement that you have heard us. The 1.1 beta 1 and 2 were not recalced. A lot of the top 50 players are there because they still have greatly inflated scores. Can you please let us know when it might be completed. Thank-you. TBAY

Thanks. It is much faster. Especially loading the Metaverse scores.

Faster? Since the change the speeds here in the UK seem to have gone downhill not improved
Now takes twice as long to load any given page!
