no Textures... Gfx Bug?

Hi @ all!

I bought my GalCiv II two weeks ago and installed it on my PC. Everything's fine, but I got a probleme with my graphics. Ingame no textures are shown. On main screen, I can't see any planet - no gfx. On shipbuilding screen only the ships grids are shown - looks like earlydays 3D

I got an ATI Radeon 9950 graphics adaptor. I buyed it last year for Civilization 3 and there it is running fine. My OS is Win2000 SP4. Has anyone an idea how to get the game working properly?
It's no fun playin' it without graphics...

Please post the contents of the debug.err file you can find in Program Files/Stardock/Totalgaming/Galciv2 (or wherever you installed it to) on your computer, that will help us diagnose the problem.

I guess you are playing the english version on an non-english pc. I have the same bug here and it went away, when I set my system-language to english. You can do so via Start->System-Control->Region&Language-Options->regional settings. This does not affect the actual language of your system, it just makes that gfx-bug go away.
