this may sound stupid but WHERE THE ******* HELL IS MY ******* SERIAL NUMBER?

plz help

look, it's not exatly teh biggest case for a game, but where in gawds name is the perishing serial code, it aint the bar code is it? or the sequence of numbers above the bit that says 'made in the europian union' cause iv'e tryed that.
tech wise i am an ass how do i create a character????

From what I can gather, You brought it retail, If you still have the receipt then go back to the shop and either ask for a refund or a hand with finding the serial number.

Ask nicely.

In any case the game does not need a serial number to install from CD - You just wont get the benifits of the updates.

didn't some of the European ones come up number short? like 25 instead of 28?

Yes there was some trouble with that a few months ago, I thought they were recalled or something..

Email what you think is the serial key to Stardock and see what happens.

I bought the retail version. It was a sticky lable on the back of the manual. Have a look there.

I have European Paradox version and the serial code is on the second CD. But I suppose you have already looked there.

I've got the german Limited Edition an the Serial is on the back of the Manual.

If your copy is missing its serial number, just take it back to your point-of-purchase for a replacement.

Mine has a sticker with the number printed on it, right on the back of the jewel case. with big letters that say SERIAL NUMBER.

This topic is two weeks old.... considering the original creator of the topic is gone we can assume he stopped taking drugs and was able to locate the Serial Number.
With this in mind... and considering the words within the TITLE of the topic... why don't the moderators delete the topic ???

I have a European Paradox box and the website says I need a second code beginning with GC2- that I can't find either.

I got exactly the same problem... I bought the limited edition from Paradox and I only have the Collector's Edition content key, the GC2-*****-*****-*****-*****-***** one. I looked everywhere for the other key, but it's not on the case, on the cds or in manual. I don't believe I still have the receipt - this makes it very hard to convice them to do a swap at the retail store... And without the serial it'll be hard to play the updated game
