Well, found a bug dealing with the default Ranger class ship. When its discovered and the proper techs are researched, if you select a ship for construction, and deselect it, it continuously builds rangers, even though it doesn't show it. I think the ranger is sharing the Nothing option for contructing space ships. I have since re-created this twice in different games.
