The constructor needs to have a more visible circle of influence. It is very hard to see the circle of the darker colors against the black background. Maybe add a border to the outer edge of the circle or reduce the transparency to 75% or so, so the circle can be seen before building the starbase in the wrong location. Another option would be to confim the starbase AFTER you have seen the results.

In short, we need to be able to see the influence cirle of the constructor before building/accepting the starbase.
