are you interested in making some events or writing some information things?
there are many several things you can do what didn't seems like heavy modding ;o)

By "mod", do you mean creating a series of ships that match the sSar Trek universe, just using the GalCiv2 shipbuilder, or do you mean creating Star trek ships using imported models from other programs or created from scratch? I already created some models (Enterprise, Klingon vessels) on display in the sticky thread, but all were made with the shipbuilder, no mods.

we make a mod build up by changing and importing models from 3d studios,

some things we can use from the game and modify, everything other we have to create.

for information: the Klingon ship was made from game and the disruptor is a 20 minute change in the gfx directory by using a different animation data + painting a png file this shall encourage everyone to start modding

I just wanted to know: do you simply want to add a Star Trek flavor through races and ships alone, or REALLY modify GalCiv2 to have missions picturing wars between klingon/federation/romulans?

To include a lot of minor races?
