just to generate some discussion, whats your opinions on the racial hulls? IMO the Altarian hulls suck as I don't think they look that great.

The Drengin hulls are pretty cool, especially the second frieghter type (the one without the long pylons or whatever), the Terran hulls are nice looking in thier own way. I haven't seen the Yor and Torian types yet as I only have the demo.

yep, we're good. Josh you should try the Piers Anthony Incarnations of Immortality Series sometime.

Some of the Torrian ships look kind of like mis- shaped Star Trek Ships. I almost always start with Drengin ship styles and then use the Kryo Mod to make whatever I want.

thanks oni, ill check it out if i have time... problem is i have stacks of books i have to read laying around my room... smjjames- i like the terran style, but im going to replace things when brian (spleeze here on the forum) releases his star trek ships, its not that i really like star trek, im not a fanatic like some, its just that the ships look so good and spacey too, so ill be using those for sure once 1.2 comes out

Yeah, speeze did a great job on those ships. I just hope he'll make the individual designs available too.

I, too, have always been here checking up on what's been said. I'm just not much of a "chatter" sometimes; especiallly when I get home from work. I must sound like someone's dad... but I don't have children yet.

but basically Cari or Frogboy initially demoted him to visitors status, but he just made a new name (essentially the same name, just with spaces in between the letters), so they perm-banned him by stopping his ISP. he was given a chance to go away, but nope....

Psycho started flaming everyone he could find and invading threads to insult people (as opposed to liberating them) continuously. He made a post, in all caps, asking why Brad wouldn't answer him. Cari said he was pronmoted to visitor, his language wasn't acceptable, nor where the insults, and he would have to read the manual and agree to stop spamming to get status back. He made a new account, came here and tried to flame again, and made another post in which Brad said "he's just trolling for attention, and is being a pain" in reply to Thumbwiz who tried to make the dev's sound like the gestapo. Since then Pyscho has been permabanned, and you can see his last statement was "I could hack this site". Moron.

Also, I hate Bush, used to hate America, but since visiting there last year realised that the people inside it are nice, helpful, and likeable. Just a total twat in charge.

anyway, good morning guys even though its almost 10 AM PST where I am and its evening in the UK.

Wade, I wouldn't say it was America hating, Bush bagging I would agree with. I was in the US Army, I do love my country, and I have lived in other countries so I do have a bettter understanding of what the US has and doesn't have compared to most Americans. I don't believe Bush has been doing that great of a job and I think that his administration has been ignoring the constitution in the name of national security. Also I think he has betrayed the American people with some of his decisions. All of our political representatives have a duty to uphold the will of the majority of thier constituants. Bush has on numerous occasions violated that trust. One of the best examples was the Dubai Ports deal. Bush can justify wire tapping American citizens without a warrant (unconstitutional) in the name of national security, and in the same breath declare he will give control of a major US port to a questionable foriegn power. And despite all of the national security concerns, the majority of congressmen, senators, and the American people being against the deal Bush said it would go through no matter what. I do love my country, but not the direction it is heading. I do feel that Bush has done more to harm the ideals and principles of the United States than the combination of all foriegn aggressors have been able to achieve.
