Tech trading in campaign - affected by last game

The ability to use tech trading in the main campaign seem to be controlled by the last normal game you play. If you select to disallow tech trading on the last game then its disallowed on the next campaign game you play, if you select to allow it then it is allowed. There is no button to change it in the campaign itself.

i have yet to see this on the patch's list of fixes, has this been resolved yet?

I don't think it's a bug at all. Tech trading on/off is something that you get a chance to set at the beginning of each campaign. The game treats your selection as a playing-style preference, leaving it as you set it last rather than making you reset it to your liking every time. It's the same with galaxy size, victory types allowed, disabling minor races, etc.

I disable tech-trading. I hate late game when everyone has the same techs.

ofcourse thats a bug. What a retarded notion.

You can set it to on or off in the skirmish. But in the campaign you cannot. However the campaign would be influenced by the last skirmish you fought, using the same setting as it. So you could alternate between having it allowed and disallowed in the campaign based on the skirmishes you make, without the ability to set it in the campaign itself. To claim such a thing is a "feature" is extremely obnoxious.
