Ok, I haven't seen this anywhere in the forums and I couldn't resist making it myself. I know it is a bit silly but it's fun. So let's try it!

I'll have a go at it first.

You know you've played too much GalCiv when... while you are driving you think to yourself that you should have researched Sensors IV to see the traffic ahead instead of that Warp drive which you now can't use...

You got crazy trying to move the map with leftclick+hold and moving the mouse while you loose in a rts game during the weekend with friends....

Hahahaha...sorry about that.  Would it help if I coded in an Outlook-like calendar to remind you about birthdays, anniversaries, and doing the dishes?

When you start welding a large wing to the side of your car - then complain that design doesn't affect performance when your car tips over.

You constantly hit crtl+n trying to get a new house closer to work

When people talk of colonizing Mars, you think "Why bother, its only 4 squares?"

You build a new Gazebo/grill/hot-tub in your neighbor's yard in hopes that he will be influenced into letting you have his house

You spend 15min at work trying to come up with signs you play GalCiv too much

There is a Disneyland in France as well


Hmmm, the calendar would solve LOTS of problems, like reminding you to EAT!

When you try to find the slider for taxes in the real world to lower them a bit down

Yup, Civ IV drives me batty now, my mouse hand is hardwired for GC2, so I'm always giving the wrong command or having to stop and remember the Civ IV way to do something

Seriously, do I am the only one not to like Civilization 4 ? I find it is a crappy game, it is incomplete and children looking. I dont like the way they set up the management. I'm an hardcore fan of civilization since the first one. The only fun thing are religion and the main and only one true improvement is that how you shape governement and politics. I have purchased the special edition at pre-order. I still regret my 70$ canadian dollars. I'm thinking about selling it on ebay.



You played too much galactic civilization 2, when you spended 40 hours on it in three days.

... when your daugher comes into your comp room and tells you it is morning and you're due to go to work and to drive her into the school too.

It's actually good when game crashes quite regularly. At 3 o' clock in the mornig it's a clear sign I need to go to beed to catch those minimum three hours of sleep i need to survive.
