Noob here, have a few questions

The title says it all.
Picked up GC II today, got off to a grand start with four other civilizations

Been loking around here for patches and stuff, but I am totally lost on the whole 'empire' system. I have created my own, the http://metaverse.galciv2.com/index.aspx?g=empire&id=1021]Terran Confederacy, and maybe i'm just lazy and havent been looking hard enough but I can't seem to find anything about this stuff. Would anyone mind giving me a quik lowdown, or at least a link, on this empire deal? Secoundly, how do I submit game records? Been wondering about how to do that.

About submitting game records: In Main Menu, click Metaverse. Login with your ID. Setup the game how you want and play it. When your done, it will ask you if you want to submit the score to the Metaverse. Click OK. --(you only need to be online when you start the game and when you submit the score)--

As far as the lowdown on the Empire stuff, I dont know what to tell you. It'd probably be better to ask specific questions.

Ah, ok. In recent enlightenmeant, if I play as my empire and win, and then submit it to metaverse, will it show up here? Secoundly, how, exactly do I upload this 'civilization' of mine?
And, thirdly, how, exactly, do I upload my empire avatar into GC?

It will be recorded on your character sheet and also shown on your empire, if that character is in an empire.

The metaverse lets you create a main profile, which can host 1 empire and up to 3 different characters.
If your talking about the civilization you use to play the actual game, then you don't upload that. Only the score from the game.

how, exactly, do I upload my empire avatar into GC?

Click My Account, then Edit My Empire. There is a place there to upload photos or icons.
